I am a huge anime fan and I am pleased about your work. I would love to see more of it, though I doubt you're gonna bring more to NG. I am also pleased that you took all standard anime gags and actions into consideration when making this.

Not bad.
It's kinda funny how Japanese styled animation has been steriotyped for its bigger things, while the intense quality of detail is usually lost to the average viewer, who is more likely to notice the sharp contrast in physical appearance defined mostly by mood (common examples: the horns, chibi, and the massive, massive sweatdrop). At this time of night, it's very hard for me to not go on a tangent on media and entertainment and its effects and relationship on society, so I shall keep it simple:
Teh sweet. That was very amusing.
Also, note that the main character is only shown as a normal human once, very vriefly, in the title. Also, the father is humming the theme to Neon Genesis: Evangelion on his stroll home. :D
