It reminded me a bit of Disney's Kim Possible in the beginning, when the guy suddenly rushed to her aid, but that impression wore off quickly enough ...
The story is pretty simple, cute, but not breathtaking ... what I really really love about this animation though is the way it's done, the style of the drawings, the design and just the over-all style. I love it!
