it's just the style.
its like asking why do all disney characters wear gloves, have 4 fingers and pie-slice eyes
why do all of CNs stuff (powerpuff girls, dexters lab etc) look kinda funky?
why do the characters bounce rather than walk?
etc etc etc
just remember that next time you ask why the manga style of drawing looks so strange, compaired to some of the other stuff , its pretty damn accurate :P
anyway...
i quite liked this. just goes to show that you dont need a fancy graphics tablet and a grands worth of tools to make good flash.
the story was abit predictable but it doesnt count against it.
just one thing though.
what the hell was coming out of the top of the robot?!?
it sure as hell didnt look like juice....
but maybe im just sick...

I just LOVED this....especially how you dumbed down the quality of the graphics, but actually made it look kick-ass at the same time.:)
3ryq a few reviews back was right.......this is so much like that particular show, and THAT is one of the things that make it great. It is like that show, but with more structure and plot as well.:)
Graphics: The graphics were cute & funny, yet hardcore at the same time. The smiling bullets/missiles were actually pretty kewl. BTW: Why do anime/manga girls almost always wear those oversized hair bows? Don't they make the girls head's too heavy or somethin'?:)
Style: Funny, wity, and rockin'. Nuff' said.
Sound: The song was awesome. I can't help but wonder how it would have sounded with some FX.....like maybe bullet firing noises & such.
Violence: While there were some kick-ass action sequences throughout, and there were bullets flying in alot of the scenes, I am very de-sensitized when it come to violence.:) I need blood and guts flying everywhere, or people getting their butts kicked left & right to give an 8 or higher in this category. It was still good, though.:)
Interactivity: It had a button or two, but I don't think most movies deserve/should get a high score in this category, as most of them don't have or need such. It detracts from the great animations and stuff, ya' see.:)
Humor: It was very funny....especially the walking through the grass sequences, and the factory smilies everywhere.:) Also, the two heroes working together got a few laughs out of me as well.:D
All in all, it gets an overall 8/10, and a vote of 4/5. Don't worry about not getting full scores from me, as I rarely give a top score of 10/10 or 5/5 seperately.....and almost never together. I guess I just nit-pick too much.....like Ebert & Roeper.:D

I can always appreciate some nice traditional animation in a flash, especially when it looks that good, and then especially when it's all with a mouse. You're awesome.

Well cant say thet the Flash dident haw style....graphiks ar spectakular is its true dtheat you drew it with your mous :) Musik is right to the climat of the movie and in som parts its weary funny...but the movie is wear emocional over all. This movie gets a 10 coz it deservs it good job Winnie.
