Oh, blast it all
*ahem*... I like "Hoy te amo ++" . The animation is sketchy and not flawless, but it's of the sort that it is part of the film's charm rather than a marring fault. The girl's fond memories of past adventures with this mystery boy made me smile. The fight sequence was not the best I have seen in terms of action and animation, but this movie wasn't about the fight--it was about the memories. The song was an outstanding choice for this movie, and I happen to like it.
... Here's the part of my review I regret and should not do, but I'm mad right now so I will. I did not think this could become #1 in scoring. But *something* got this to #1, and I shall not curse whatever force mandated that "Hoy te amo ++" be #1. I offer congratulations to Vinnie Veritas, and I hope that after the scoring has settled from the flak now bursting in the air, "Hoy te amo ++ " retains a respectable score because by gum I think it deserves it.
