i remember a while back when...
there were about fifty of these damn flash tutorials a day.god that was a crappy couple of days, but out the the ones i've sen the is pretty decent.I love sprite films and it's great that youu're taking the time and effort to teach people how to make them.

Sprite movies suck, they are just overrated, overused and a cheap way to get a good score, just as much as hentai slideshows. I know that people have different opinions and stuff. It's ok if people like sprite movies, I don't care, but it's the fact that there was barely any effort put in to them at all.
The tutorial was decent itself, but if it were about drawing or actionscripting, then I'd give this an ok score.

That obviously depends on the movie doesn't it. You think all sprite movies are bad because a lot of inexperienced Flash artist use sprites - but look at what experienced animators can do - a good example of this is Rokemon - combined sprite and vector graphics.
Sprites don't 'suck' - it just depends on the animator.

What the last guy said. Good tutorial but make the screen bigger and make the writing easier to read. This really strains the eyes

Pretty cool tutorial. Really good presentation. You might want to add some sound though, and if possible make it or the printscreens bigger, it's a little hard to see some of the writing.
I left out sound because I wanted to keep the filesize low. Now I think about it, the stage size needs to be a little bigger! I'll increase the dimensions when I have time. Thanks :-)
