In what way? If, like most people, you thought you were supposed to be defending the castle, I'm afraid you're sadly mistaken. You have to buy an army by clicking on the names of the units in the Pre-Battle screen and then deploying them against the castle afterwards.
Garbage!
One hit kills... Useless buildings... Boring gameplay and no real point... Woo!
thumbs down
i agree with postmodern1. The building did jack. I can't remember if my archers all died before they destroyed the castle when i deployed 200 of them... hmmm but the infantry definately does the job from beginning to end. Not much strategy could be used...i tried deploying 20 cannons (way to expensive seeing as they die too quick) and "covering" them with infantry - doesnt work! Well, it does, until the infantry die or they walk past the cannons. The game kept me occupied for a while whilst I searched for a strategic game plan but other than that...im sorry. Graphics and idea are good but the rest....kaput! No music to lessen boredom, game ran too slow, no gameplan.
Wheres the balancing?
1. The game is very limited there is no variety in the levels whatsoever. All that changes from level to level is the number of arrows the castle shoots and its hitpoints.
2. Archers are so powerful they can win every level indefinitely with only about 20 of them if you repeatedly upgrade them. Cavalry are instant killed, while costing 10 times as much as infantry. Also ARCHERS HAVE LONGER RANGE THAN CANNONS!!! I mean seriuosly, whats up with that.
3. It involves no tactical skill at all. All you do is deploy units and you have no control over them.
Fix these and the game might be "OK" i would recommend making the castle send out units of its own.
VERY !!!!!!!
