Reviews for "Xenosteel's Guide"

Very nice message

I voted 5 because I was affraid it would get blammed... guess I was wrong... anyways, most of what you said is true.
I hope all the newbies out there will read your message and follow what it said.
One thing about your animation in there... the one you are proud of... you might want to add limbs next time. Quite some people are just animating that way because they are lazy...
4/5

Xenosteel responds:

Oh am I lazy! I'm the lord of the laziness in fact -_- lol
Well, I explained why I couldn't do that one very well, I didn't really have that much time. Anyway

thanks for the high vote, I appreciate it!
and thanks for your review and complements :)

Yes!

yup, all the advices are good. i have been blammed 2 times and i when i had worked with flash for a while i ended up the same way as your advices say. but this guide tells even more, and it helped alot, thanks man! really good.

Xenosteel responds:

I'm glad to hear my guide was of help!
thanks!!! yeah I got blammed 2 times before too, lol

Great!

Very cool. I mean like.. Very. It's nice that you are giving up your time to help new and future flash makers.. such as myself. Though you did sort of repeat yourself at times.

Xenosteel responds:

It's true that I do repeat myself, even in real life. Somehow I get the feeling that it makes some things clearer and harder to forget.. but maybe its just me :P

thanks a lot for the review and the kind words, just wanted to say that its nice to see that you appreciate the time and effort I put into helping people :) It makes me happy.. I'll be more happy to see you developing your own flash

great, but a little too complex!

Well even thoughti dont make flash, I definately found this helpful to me for if i ever did want to make flash and I can see how this would be helpful to a newbie flash maker.
I liked the introduction expkaining the purpose of this turorial and the claming music was an extra little music fitted in here. The whole thing was neatly divided into seperate menus and chapters so there was a lot to learn here, my only concern that it might be on the whole a little TOO complex if it is targeted at a newbie audience who will have never done flash before. Pictures could also help. Many people will understand this but you just need to think of how the main audience this is aimed for may not. Other than that, a nice job well done :)

Xenosteel responds:

Well this tutorial isn't about the very basics of flash since they're quite obvious, instead it speaks about the current issues we face with new flash artists.. However, you DO have a point, thanks for 'pointing' that out, it'll help me write better guides in the future

I'm glad to hear that this has been useful to you :) I'm looking forward to seeing flash from you someday

thanks for the review!

Great!

Good "tutorial",you included some important chapters,i didnt think that the first cool example was that cool though,it was only motion tweening and a dude getting shot, pretty pointless.Well, keep up the great work!...and good music!=)

Xenosteel responds:

oooooo you're the first to ever say that you didn't like the first cool example! hah finally! never thought I'd hear that :P

I only wish that this tutorial could be more popular... [sigh]

anyway thanks for the review! and thanks for reviewing all my stuff as well :D much appreciated
