You were successful. That was one of the first flashes where I couldn't guess what was going to happen next. For your critique (frenchy word), The graphics, although good, were a little messy. The style was great in that it takes such an ordinary thing like dad coming home into a laugh fest. The sound was appropriate. The violence was good, and it was unbearabley (sp?) funny. Great job.

The reason I gave graphics a "9" is because it was a bit Sketchy, but still fantastic! I also liked the part when he rubs the fire on his head out with the cat. I still laugh when I think of it.
Style got a "10" because it's original insanity! I have not seen another like this on Newgrounds.
Sound got a "10" because the beginning music was funny and old fashoned like and then it goes into the F-Zero song! I found that funny too.
Violence got a "5" because there was little violence, apart from the eye-lasers and busting those guys car up.
Inyteractivity got a zero because there was none.
Humor got a "10" because I can never watch it without laughing out loud!
overall, "8" because I can't give you a 10 with a 5 and a zero there.
I loved it and I would indeed recommend it to anyone.
