All right, I admit, this entry rocks.
You know, I really didn't like this when I first saw it a while back. It was random, too random to really find funny. The commentary at the end was the only part I liked, kind of like the end of Krinkels' first Madness.
Then a few weeks went by, and I swear I've seen some really unworthy crap make it to the front page with almost every update. Not total junk, but front-page quality? Please. Then I come back to this and watch it again, after hearing about it over and over in reviews and profiles, every single mention in high praise. And you know, the more I watch this, especially after not seeing it for a while, the more I like it.
You notice the little things. The almost impeccable timing of the music, in sync with every action and scene. Not to mention the very appropriate choice of music for the situations. I love Cab Calloway. It gave the whole thing a silly Tom & Jerry classic atmosphere. Random violence, then beer. Heads catching on fire. Naturally, put it out with the flame-retardant cat. More violence. Then..... wall physics. wtf.
I admit, I took it way too seriously when I first saw it. After a while, the complete randomness starts to become funny. Then it gets hilarious. It's like one big inside joke now. And you know, in a medium so full of gratuitous, blood-chunky, two-dimensional violence, you did all this without animating a single drop of blood. And it's all so silly and non-sensical that I can't help but love this entry you've given us to enjoy.
I didn't see it at first, but you have a little bit of genius in you man. Replay value, this one's full of it. Just like Walk-Smash-Walk. You're a cut above many of the artists who submit flashes here. Thank you for such an entertaining piece. ^_^
