this is a flash cartoon where the author/illistrator wanted it to be funny and felt he had to add it in for pure humor...
that poor cat......
...i have a theory about his head:
when he first bought the cat, he rubbed it on his head, little did he know, that the cat had hairs that exploded after departing from the body, this was due to super heated, toxic and radioactive waved cat food that allowed the cat to spontaneously combust when ever he was cold! and unfourtunally the dad bought the cat in the winter, and to punish the cat, he would rub the cat on his head, this then became the way to simply douse the fire that the cat had origanlly started! thus, in conclusion, if the dad used water, instead of a cat, he might put out the flames, again, i'll say......that poor cat
