allow me to be the skeptical one

I cant help but notice how every single comment on the first page (when this flash was first submitted) are COMPLETLY unlike any normal flash reviews that we see day to day (especially on such a mediocre flash). I'ts funny how people just happen to say "you'll be on first page in no time!" when there is not the SLIGHTEST indicator of front page material in this boring flash. "Irony" some say?
Also, I dont think i've ever seen anyone else (such as the maker of Madness or ANY other violent flash movies) being told "Was that like a warning message?" or something along that line.
This whole scenario is a bit too ironic for me, but maybe im just being skeptical. Newgrounds sure got the attention it wanted because of this, if anyone catches my drift...

sad, really

i dont really care for the animation of this flash, but the point is actually very scary. check out the guy's profile, and you'll be able to see more into his mind (to some extent) and see why he did this. please do not disregard this review everybody, for it is the only reason why i made an account for NG.

Ok.

Some people dont realize that it not just beause he went through some shit in his life that he decided to kill people. It could possibly be some mental health issue. There are alot of people out there who have mental health problems but either dont realize it or just dont tell anyone for their own, unjistified reasons. He may have had a mental health issue and maybe, just MAYBE it was some music or whatever he lisened to or saw that made him to this. Im not saying these things are the cause of all shootings and violence. Im just saying it was possibly the cause for his particular shooting because of his possible mental issue. Who knows? Maybe he was just thinking that he was having it the worst in his life and all. No human being can ever say for sure.

Just read from the first replies.

"Lol, you obviously can't tell the difference between Fantasy and reality. This cartoon was made for nothing more than Random violence, and believe it or not theres an audience out there that this appeals to. So don't try judging my Mental health based upon a simple animation, capisce?"

Even if people questioned that he needed help, he seems like he would have rejected it and hidden any hatred to avoid the subject. It doesnt matter, sad events are part of life, theres always going to be a few bad eggs. I do think however, that they should make it much harder for people on anti-depressents to get weapons though. I mean, "Hey, I'm really sad. How much is that rifle?" seems kind of ridiculous, and yes, I know that's not how he got the gun, but still, I'm sure somebody understands what I mean.

Penny Bain better keep her fat-ass away from this though.

Stop trying to over-analyze this piece.

To those trying to find a message in this flash, stop trying; there isn't one. So many people (you know how you are) think that because he made a flash depicting events that he eventually carried through with that someone should have noticed it as a cry for help, that because it was so short it wasn't ment to entertain but to warn or call for help. Bull. There are far more demented and far more blunt clips out there, but do you people put up the red flag on them? No. Perish the thought. You might be wrong and look like a fool, right? Not to say that I'm considerate enough to try and concole people away from suspected mass murder based only on a flash piece, but too many people think that that is what should have happened and what they would have done had they seen the flash sooner. Its ludicrous to think that any demented piece of art or writing is a message when you know that it is after the fact. You people would not be saying the same thing if the guy had not murdered those people, so you shouldn't say it now. I'm absolutely sick of it and I know of many others that share the sentiment.

As for Weise, what he did was unforgivable and, at the risk of becoming unpopular with a great deal of you, weak. No one can forgive such an act, be it individual or group, religious or otherwise. Suicide and/or murder is the easy way out and the sign of a weak individual. No matter how bad it gets, you stick it out and you find a way to live with your pain; believe me, I know.
