This One Is Hard
This one is a little tough to review. Trying to remain from one opinion or another on the matter, it was very short, and quite frankly it was 2.5 seconds of my life that I would like to have refunded to me. I already know what this animation will bring up. "He Drew About Killing, They Should Have Noticed It Sooner, BAN ALL VIOLENCE ON THE INTERNET AND SHUT DOWN NEWGROUNDS!" Now, I don't think like that, but I'm sure that a lot of other people will. Art is a reflection of one's self. But this is just that, art. Don't blame it, but, from these few seconds, maybe try to look into his life and art... It was short, it was simple, it was a message; one that no-one could have identified without making a huge generalization on violence in this kind of art.
I have seen a lot of people talk about 'how disturbed' this makes him look and 'how sick' this flash movie is. Just look around. There are a lot of people who do stuff like this. (The movie, I mean. Not school shootings.) You all seem very hypocritical to me. Human nature dictates that we all suffer through pains like this; some more than others. We all have feelings like this, a lot of us do art like this. Just because he happened to kill a bunch of people doesn't make his art sick. Not that he was right, or anything, but don't put his art on trial when it was his willingness to act upon his fantasies is the problem. And don't respond to this. I won't be checking back here.
i think that this is kinda creepy
this submission is creepy for a couple reasons.
1. it has happened in real actual life
2. its a murderous cartoon character!!
but it was funny and i laffed so in my opinion its alrite =)
