I have to say........

I wish I could've met him I probably could have dissuded him from that I liked the flash I thought it was cool I like this sort of humor and I'm sorry he had to die before he could make more movies he's a great animater I hope to be this great. Parents you need to tell your kids you love them and perhaps give them a hug EVERY SINGLE DAY I felt like doing the exact same thing before I relized just how loved I am. You need to make sure your kids know how much you love them so this NEVER happens agian I am only 15 and I only learned this 3 years ago. It could've happend with me so do it now before it's too late. Thank you all.

if this wasnt for the whole massacre thing...... id deff like it....... i had a freind that went to that school..... he didnt get hurt........... glad that kid killed himself sorry for evry1 loss................. may they R.I.P...... glad that kid died(the shooter)...... cant give this my own rating

Yeah, i'm not gonna judge this because of what the author did, cause it is, a very good animation, and it is, on the front page. The killing and stuff has a strong likeness to what he did, cept for blowing up the cop car and such, but he did take out a bunch of people, and he did kill himself, if ya think, it was kinda of a warning, or maybe just plans, so he wouldn't forget to d that...or something...<<;...anyways, while you are burning in the fiery pits of hell if satan has the internet, check on it, and you'll see that i gave ya 4 out of 5.

I think many people are missing the point.

I think there will obviously be a lot of hype about this. I think the main thing to remember is this is a very good animation, graphically. The boy had talent in my opinion and its a shame he had problems in his life that made him do these horrible things. Possibly if someone in his life and nurtured these skills he could of gone on to live and full and happy life. To suggest this cartoon should have given anyone a sign to what he was going to do is moronic. Western media is full of violence and especially gun violence. In the animation he is seen shooting what appears to be a member of the KKK so it is not as though there are any indications of hate towards a minority which is surprising due to the link between him and nazism. This is obviously a horrendous thing that has happened however for certain people a brilliant opportunity to blame the media and control everybody more. Look a cartoon such as Tom and Jerry, not much difference really and to suggest newgrounds have something to do with this is ridiculous. I hope anybody else that feels the way Jeff did can speak out and get help before another tragedy like this happens, perhaps relaxed gun laws are to blame as apposed to cartoons.

Seriously..

Let me just vent a little here...

When the Columbine incident went down, I was in junior high. At the time, I was one of those kids you would probably peg as someone who would shoot up the school. And obviously, I never did. I did feel some empathy for the shooters, and most of all I could at least understand why they did it, partially anyway.

Now, I'm going out on a limb and figuring that there are people like I was that are on NG that probably feel the same way I did. So, to those people: I'm really sorry that people might give you shit, but it eventually passes.

Finally, I want to point out that I also played violent video games, listened to violent music, wrote violent poetry, and if I had possessed the skill that this kid did, I probably would have made violent flash games. If any representative of the media reads this, hear this one message: it wasn't any of these above mention things that made him do it. Personally, I blame American society.
