warning signs

These submissions were obviously warning signs, and despite the fact there are many aritsts on newgrounds who submit violet animations, there are a few of them ... that are close to this same road. I only hope they dont take the reviews too close to heart and relise if they want someone to talk to about their problem there are people out here who do care... its not too late, and maybe it could have been prevented.
We use art as a way of expressing ourselves, and is key to those who close themselves up... blame whatever you want, but the truth is he reached out in this media bEFORe he commited the act, just like a letter. Missing the signs is the real blame. AS humans it is our nature to even if we dont relise it reach out for help, most of us tend to ignore these signs and feel better about blaming the media or the parents as a scapegoat for guilt. Same thing happened in columbine, and other shootings and voilence involving troubled teens. Being a teenager is the hardest thing to be these days, not listening to them in need is the biggest mistake anyone can make. I really wish there was a forum or something on newgrounds to help anyone falling to this path. Rest in peace, jeff.

even though your dead, your fucked up

first off, he put this on newgrounds b4 he killed them, witch means that people watched it thinkin it was just a flash then heard that he did it 4 real.STUPID. i dont know if he shot bullies or random people, but he shot his grandfather thats fuckin family man wtf. even if he was bullied he should have just fought them at the worst not fuckin shoot people. he knew it would be on the news and stuff but that wasnt enough he had to make a flash about it. if he hadnt commited suicide, i would fuckin kill the prick my self. he thought it threw enough to get a gun and kill people then himself but he didnt think about everyone else it affects, he is just a selfish prick that should have been killed by something painfull not a fuckin bullet to the head. if you think this is abusive, think about the people he killed and how long he knew he was going to do it i mean he wanted to kill them so long that he made a flash. so if u still think it is abusive I DONT CARE, HE IS FUCKING DEAD

It was an okay flash film, but how could the media link this to the shooting? I mean, he never shot a clansman. Besides, it seems a little silly that everything he ever said or did online is being plastered all over the news as if it is in any way relevant. I mean, if I went and shot up a school, they'd probably tell everyone about all the porn I've looked at.

This is so sad...

I see now what this flash is really about. This is basically like the plan you had for school that horrible day. I have no sympathy for people like you Jeff Weise, who kill people whether they made fun of you, harassed you, embarassed you, spread rumors about you, or if they didn't. They all would've grown up in time and realized what they had done in the past and they would be sorry. You had other and much better choices and ways to deal with your sorrow. You and the students you killed had opportunites in life, a chance to fofill your dreams. But you had to let rage and despair take control of you and destroy others' lives including your own. Now, even as I am typing this, your family, and the families, of the dead are mourning. This wasn't fair Jeff Weise, you will pay for what you did! if there is a hell, I hope Satan has a special place for you down there Weise, and you will stay there burning for a very...very long time, perhaps for eternity.

But the people who are saying "Jeff, I have no respect for you" or "Jeff you suck." Are not realizing something.

He is dead.

I only found this flash enjoyable because I saw it as a decent flash animation, not as a "suicide notice."

Now that you realize that Jeff is dead, therefore not reading your reviews, why even say this flash sucks? Jeff isn't here to read it.

Now, you may say "But you are also writing a pointless review". That may be true, I am writing a review, but I am also trying to get a point across.

I also see that some of you are saying "He listened to KoRn, Marylon Manson, Slipknot etc." I listen to SlipKnot, Disturbed, and KoRn and am not affected by it. But this is a matter of a person's perception of things. If he listened to the songs and heard violent lyrics and felt strongly about them, that may have been a factor (if even a minor one.)

Jeff was not a bad guy. He was only 16 and had a lot going for him. This was also the case with the Colombines. They were smart and were looking forward to a good life. But as they were constantly bullied and taunted by classmates, they could not take it anymore and felt the only way out was to kill them and take their own life, thinking they "served justice".

BUT I am not in any way saying that him killing another (multiple) human was "ok". This was a horrific event.
