if u didnt know this, u probably did i didnt read the reviews, this kid here, he shot up the school not to long ago and not to far from me hes a sick bastard in jail who killed innocent people. he killed a poor kid infront of him. I know this because his animation was on the clip. Plus when they had his prison picture he had his hair shaped as devil horns

I think that the response not to Weise's actions but to this flash are silly. Now I understand why people are saying that having seen this, somebody should have known. Be realistic: this cartoon is the same as 70% of what comes out on NG. If Weise hadn't murdered anybody, this would have been getting reviews saying how nicely animated it was or how cool the killing was. I see tons of reviews each day stating how amazingly cool or funny another identical flash to this is. So the questions are, why do we suddenly hate this violence today when we loved it so much yesterday and will we return to loving it tomorow?
(Frankly I just think that this is an attempt on the part of people to "monsterize" or "other" Jeff Weise. The truth in life is that the people who commit horrendous acts like this aren't monsters and they aren't that different. It is people like you and me who do these things. They are regular people who, for some reason, have come to accept violence and murder as acceptable solutions to their problems. There is no point in going on some witch hunt for "deviant monsters" cuz in the end we will just find ourselves.)

i liked it, and i understand the contreversy. not every animator who makes a violent animation is a violent perosn, so this fucktard who said, and i quote: "People like David Firth should also die..." is an ignorant asshole with bogus dreams, and YES i said bogus. though i do think that killing people is wrong, if everyone who made an animation with someone dying got punished, this site would be a barren, fucking place, full of teletubies and gay porn. so... keep it safe, and maybe a disclaimer is needed, but that should be the extent... (i mourn your losses, to all those who lost their lives at the hands of this derranged man)

this is by no means a review of the film but of the poor taste by the Fulps in posting on the front page.
This video only demarks the obvious issues of a very troubled individual. If anything it's a testament to his parents either ignoring or being oblivious to their child's problems. It is neither a tribute nor a "eye opener" to promote it on the front page of a website visited by younger audiences.
it is not censorship, but it is something that should be brought to the attention of the parents of the victims and perpetrator.
It is not something to parade around where the viewing masses can "enjoy it" just as people made a mockery of the tragedy with what happened to LiveCorpse.
It glamorizes the terrible and selfish actions of a few deranged individuals.
My only hope is other more reasonable members of the NG community share in my opinion that this is a travesty to the memory of those who died at this persons hands and the overall image of NewGrounds.
