Mundane.

Uh . . . Why should a psycopathic coward's death be 'respected'? It's a shame that nihilism is still considered to be cool--or 'respectable'--not only because it is utterly mundane, but also because, by virtue of its definition, it *can't* be cool. It is nothingness; represents nothing; and therefore can *be* nothing.

Weise's attempt to glorify nihilism through animation is the same as his attempt at life itself: pathetic.

you all should be ashamed

Dude, you guys, he was depressed and on the brink of sucicide, so he did make the wrong choice though, but just respect the man'a death... so just dont think of the author who made this just think about how he felt when he made this.

Hmmmm.....

thats probably how a few ppl i no will end up. the last person sounds like a 5 year old christian with nothin better to do than dis' stuff for the fun of it. over and out.

solely rating the movie

only rating the movie, I would give it a 5 and 2. It's nothing novel or more unique than many other flashes submitted. Upon knowing the author of this flash, I feel this flash may be a window into his emotions and thoughts. Perhaps we should have taken more of the signs into account and confronted him before he confronted us. Yes he may have been bullied. Yes he may have been tormented by constant abuse. But that does not condone his actions or vindicate any of his irrational behavior. Other options always exist, even if you may be blind to them. But therein is the paradox - how can you utilize the other options if you are so blinded by emotions and anger and frustration? I am so sad that our society has created people like him, but I am also sad that society has the capability to do have such a negative influence on people. This falsh ironically could be a self-created tribute for himself and a reminder for us that a perversion of normaility is only a step away. Let us not be in the position to push people into blind emotions if we can help it.

Wow...

This has more pschological analysis then id care to think about, and i barely even know psychology. I do know art however, and how to decipher it.
I think, for every nearly faceless person, he imagined somone he didnt like, one standing in front of him in a very dominant aggresive pose, the other not even paying attention that the shooters alive until its too late.
Also, he never drew anyone in the car, which would of added to the violance, but i think it more symbolizes the fact that he doesnt seen the Fuzz as people, but more of a thing.
... im still in shock when i saw the movie and THEN read the Staff comment...

as for kandora801... the guy who posted before me...you numb-nutted little sausage smoker...
If one of the "faceeless victoms: was somone you were close to or worse, family, you wouldnt think "he was depressed, nothing to do". You just justified alot of people dying so simply...
God i wish people could see beyond the next 3 fucking seconds,,,
