Reviews for ""Target Practice""

don't hate him for what he did

although what he did is sick and deserves insulting, this was a good flash animation. i kinda liked it. what i find interesti g is that on the 2nd to last page of the review a guy asked if this was a warning message. he responded with a no, asking the guy not to comment on his mental health. the next day the hate reviews start coming in. he said he planned to continue flash animation but to kill himself the next day. i think something traumatic happened. he is around my age i guess so i can relate but his idea of murder is terrible. i guess i feel pity now towards him after seeing this video. rest in peace man. i want everyone to read this and not to judge this review by the artist's actions but by his work. i am tired of ppl reviewing things based on the person or other factor's and not the work. him and his work are two seperate things. do not confuse them. and remember, no matter how hard life may be, there is ALWAYS a reason to move on. rest in peace

Well......

This would have been a bit better if the school thingo didnt happen. Bit too soon.

very nice dude
first time you say....WOW... keep it up and you mite and up on the front page one day

keep up the good work"

....ironic that he makes the front page in the end....

Also, I find it amusing that people take the time to blam the author when he is deceased. If I can quote another review... "You will never read this because you killed yourself, but I do feel sorry for you, the fact that this may have been your cry for help, and no one here...could have known. Your life ends with many other's that YOU ALONE took." If he will never read it, why are you wasting time typing it?

If I were NG, I'd keep this flash in the database but block it from public view... it's not even worth listening to what people have to say about it AFTER the tragic shooting.

Go back and compare the reviews when it came out to the reviews of today: October reviews gives a thumbs up for good animation, todays reviews blam for being sick and twisted. Review the flash for the flash, not the person.

Not a great flash

The animation itself was decent, but it wasn't anything that stands out at all. Wasn't interesting, wasn't scary, it wasn't anything.

Here we go...

The way I see it, when life hits you hard, you need a way to cope with the pain. I call that the "right" side of the brain, which "sugar-coats" reality. The "left" side of the brain deals with reality as-is. People who are very imaginitive might dream about a life that could exist outside our own life, all the while maintaining what reality is, I mean, flying wouldn't be cool if everyone could do it, right? You need a basis, like reality. So imagine someone who can't differentiate between reality and fantasy after awhile (I think David Firth does that for fun). Maybe NG is responsible for "exposing" it, or maybe it's genetic. But I believe this kid felt so terrible about himself, he just wanted others to feel the same way he did.. of course, after doing that, he felt there was only one way out... if I remember being a kid, those thoughts weren't uncommon, but I, and most people, never let it get as far as he did. This kid was afraid, manic/depressed?, and young; I guess someone should have told him you don't start out courageous, stable, and mature. I rated this as I would have any movie.
