Very Deep Inner Meaning
I have loved this animation from the day I saw it, but it just hit me the other day that it helps to illustrate some very taoist philosiphy. I am not going to go all into it, but the little hammer guy lives his life just doing what he does. He doesn't try to fight the bigger robot, and he doesn't listen to the nagging of the helicopter-speaker robot. He just goes about his life, hammering away at the nails, and things seem to work out all right for him.
That or it is a commentary on our overly-industrialized culture today. Who knows?
