Before I voice my opinion, I think that the artist might want to see the reason behind my scoring. and just so you know, I watched the one at the website to make sure i got the good version.

Graphics 10: Beautiful. if this was drawn out all by you, no matter where you're getting the inspiration, it's a great job. Her boobs even bounced realistically(and I know this because I am a girl). her eyes were pretty, she looked back at what was coming, her hair was great. the car's headlights blurred when it went fast. flawless as far as I'm concerned.

Style 2: You even said it at the end. You were inspired by video games and and miscellaneous other shooting games. Style to me means originality, and although the situation seems original.. (the girl fighting against some group, and it looks like it's not terrorists and it's not some government problem so I am intrigued a bit) it's still the same ole big titty violence burning shooting scenario etc etc. kind of reminds me of resident evil meets lara croft.

Sound 10: Great match up to the explosions and footfall. I could imagine the smell of burnt skin from the crackling noises after the explosion. awesome.

Violence 10: same as above, the guy's skin bleeding through the uniforms was cool, the heads and arms half cut off with bones showing through was kick ass. lots of detail planning, it shows.

Interactivity 3: Nice menu, but I'm sure that you'll add behind the scenes extras or something like that later when you come out with the series. or maybe that will be on the website when you make it.

Humor 2: hah, she kicked their ass. it was funny to see the looks on their faces(even though masked, you saw through it with a tilt of their head or something.)

Overall 8: it just kind of was dissappointing to see one more thing of violence here on NG, but don't get me wrong. I enjoy some good flash violence just as much as the next person! but a lot of people have missed out on "Qi" and "Twisted Punch" (these could have used more interesting hooks) ..Just because it's not violent. it'd be good to see these graphics used for illustrating other things as well.

there's my review, kids and I'm givin this one a thumbs up.

Your comments on the originality are quite valid, but I think you'll change your mind once you see the actual series. This episode was just meant to show the setting and style of action that will be featured in the series, whereas the real episodes will have a much deeper plot and will deal with much more than just boobs and explosions.

And lastly, I definitely agree with what you said about the issue of violence, and the fact that a lot of otherwise great movies are being neglected today because of their nonviolent nature. However, in this case, with the type of setting I wanted to use and the dark nature of the plot, I felt that it wouldn't feel nearly as authentic if I left out the violent bits. For example, think of how much less shocking and moving "Saving Private Ryan" would have been without the graphic violence it contained. The gore wasn't there just to score points with the audience; it was there to enhance the realism and show the viewers how truly horrible it was to be fighting in that war. I used such graphic violence in my movie for the same reason, to help create that same sensation of reality.

Anyways, thanks again for the comprehensive review, and I'm glad you enjoyed the movie.

Teaser?

This was a teaser? Holy crap I can't wait for the real thing. For now, this will get an 8 for awesome animation and style. I'll save all my 5 R's and a 10 for the final version if this teasers any indications! WOOT!

Good job. The animation and drawings were really great. Good amount of violence and I like the athmospehre you made for it. Of course I didn't like how it cut short just when it was getting good, but that fine since it is a teaser. One thing that Bugged me is that the girl just didn't go with the rest of the flash. She's a cool character in the flash, but her appearence just didn't go so well with the tone of the flash.

Not that I have anything against blondes but perhaps making her hair color darker woud help. Or anything else that would project her hardcore personality.

well other than that though the flash was great and I can't wait to see more.
