Flash animations were not meant to be this good.
The directing was excellent, there have been many much, much worse uses of the camera, visual fullness, and pacing in many actual action films, including good ones. For once in an SWF the sound was impressive as the sights as well. You didn't put in mindless sounding death metal (not implying that all is) during the action to add emphasis and it payed off, just the stark contrasting sounds of a true warzone were there in lucidly defined space really adding to the atmosphere without ever letting you slip back into reality.
Oh, and the blood splattering on the quote unquote camera, nice touch.
This makes me want someone to make a post apocalyptic warfare mod for an upcoming first person shooter engine so badly...
