Attention to Detail!!
Bullet holes, splatter patterns, the flipping pages in the book, the flashing in the sky from the fighting, the heroine's swaying hair, the movement of the arm when she took the shotgun from the corpse, one of the headlights going out in the wreck, the splatter on the 'camera' when the soldier got shot in the head, the truck door going flying from the bomb, even the basic design of an old Ford pickup (I used to drive one, so I can recognize it on sight)....the details were amazing! I've seen some good flashes on NG, and this one, to me, ranks among the top. The attention to detail is astounding, the seeming peace at the beginning contrasting the fact that it's the aftermath of violence, even with slow music, which also contrasts the violence to come...
*sighs* This was, to me, incredible. I love detail. It's the little things that impress me, especially on something like a flash movie.
This is, to me, flash media at it's finest...though given some of the scenes, not for the weak of stomach.
The only way it could get better is if it were a full length one. Great job, and I mean that.
