This sort of reminds me of Mad Maxx, and the Road Warrior. Is this sort of what it is based on. All in all though, quite a well drawn teaser. Like the fact that the cars were realistic as well.

But the one thing i hope you "fix" within the actul eps is the storyline, i read alittle of the authors review, seeing it was super long, and i would say the only thing this is missing, is plot, frankly i have no idea what was going on, but that only took away from a very little of it,
