i really dont see how this is so great. it certainly is not funny. the graphics are good but compared with the top movies on the site they are really nothing special. its loooong in a bad way.

Yet another account of lame jaded gamers complaining about how new games arent "old skool" enough for them and pretending that they know anything about the industry in the first place. Of course, you top the stupidity of that by claiming that you make fun of these games, yet you like them. Sorry, that's just bull to get high scores. Really. But hey, you can always poke at developers that will always be more brilliant and talented than you because you're a group of older teen losers on the Internet, where you can throw shit at everyone without even getting a dirty look. But hey, what am I complaining for. Afterall, from your very logical perspective, my opinion doesn't matter so long as I have never submitted any Flash myself. Nazis. I hope you choke.
The 6 was because everything was fine except for actually making it a worthwhile contribution in substance. Learn to be funny, and learn to stop sugarcoating your opinion by saying "hey, we like this stuff too! Vote 5 if you enjoy games, even though we spit in the face of the industry with things that go BEYOND exaggeration!"

Hi there, and let me just say WOW that was long :) This is actually a good review, in so far as constructive critisism is always good. But I'd like to defend ourselves too.
We really do like all of these games, and own pretty much all of them. Without coming to our house and looking at our games collection, any thoughts of our 'bull to get high scores' is merely speculation. Sure, we enjoyed the old sonic games, but we mostly missed out on the 'old skool' gaming scene, the Playstation being our first proper console. We have watched games getting better and better with time, and we still see it today. Our idea of 'old skool' is Goldeneye for the N64!
The reason we make fun of these games is not through hate of the developers that always give us great games, but instead its because we know so much about them through so much playing, and that means we can spot the occasional flaw. To be perfectly honest, its the only topic we know enough about to fill a 14 minute long cartoon that the NG public would find entertaining.
When real comedians make fun of things, its often called satire and very rarely is it ever with malicious intent.
Ok, hands up here, I dont really fully agree with the idea that if you havn't submitted a flash, your opinion doesnt count - that was Dim - movie critics more often than not have never directed a movie. But I think there is some valid point in there - perhaps if someone has used flash before, they might better understand the ammount of effort that went into this - writing aside for the moment, there are thousands of drawings there, all hand drawn with a mouse pen, hundreds of thousands of bits of animation, 14 minutes of voice acting and sound effects, and two (hastily coded) games. You cant deny that that must have taken us a lot of time - an entire summer no less. Sure, that might make us losers with no life in many's eyes, but devoting an entire summer to a project that's not going to make us any money, not going to get us jobs, with the purpose of making a few NG members laugh a bit? Well, I don't find that particularly Nazi-like, do you?
Anyway, thanks for the 6, sorry you didn't enjoy it so much, but we can't possibly make a flash that appeals to everyone at once (even the almighy 'Prowlies at the River' has its bad reviews)
Seriously though, a fair few people have expressed a similar opinion to yours (though perhaps not as articulately) so if you have any ideas on reducing this problem, drop us a line, we're always open to good suggestions.

This flash was okay
This is a pretty well-animated flash. The humor and dialogue, however, seems a bit slapdash and childish without being self-consciously so. I'm not one to judge on different types of humor, but I think that the only reason why this flash received such high scores may be due to the fact that it's about video games. Video game humor can be done well, I mean just look at Penny Arcade, but this flash is highly overrated.
Incredibly Boring
Sure it was surprisingly long and fully voice acted, with decent animation and drawings, but it wasn't funny at all. I think I cracked a smile once through... What was that, a 10 minute animation?
The minigames are also repetitive and annoying, as are all of the songs in them.
I hate to be such a downer but this thing just gave me a damn headache.
