The first one was better.

I found this movie to be very pleasing, but I was still feeling quite down that it did not quite come up to its predecesor. With that said I think the movie progressed a little slowly, kind of a lazy progression. I found most of the movie to be quite entertaining, but it still lacked, mainly in the "new ideas" department. I know it's hard to keep coming up with new witty ideas, but I felt a lot of these jokes were kind of lame. The most entertaining thing on there was, was the editor's notes and thats mainly because he sits there and points out all of the easter eggs. All in all it is a good movie though.

Good job...but if you're going to make a 14min+ movie...maybe something that seems a little bit more pre-meditated?

Overrated.

I'll be blunt here. IMO, aside from the MGS parody and a small spattering of authentically funny jokes, the Decline of Video Games 2 doesn't belong anywhere near the top of the portal listings. The animation is stiff yet adequate for it's purpose, the voice acting is generally horrible, the soundtrack was only so-so, and the cheese factor was in the triple digets (though I'm assuming that was the intention)...

Basically, most of the jokes seemed forced and uninspired, and humor is one of the main qualities I look for in Flash films like this one. The best part was the short South Park FFX scene, and unfortunately, it was just that... short. It's no secret that I've never been a big fan of this series, but come on, I'm just not seeing what everyone else is...

I know what you mean about the forced jokes....basically when we put the dialogue together, we just focus on presenting the jokes in an understandable way, rather than a particularly clever or original one. I also agree that some of the voice acting could do with work. And yeah, it is cheesy. I'm working on improving all areas for Decline 3!

pretty funny but other than that the only good part was the preloader mini games.
