Reviews for "Tier"

nice piece of work!

ok, this is real good work, man...
music and flash are really well put together (nice, this 'equalizer' in the control room and elswhere)
why you've chosen the song 'tier' of rammstein?
nobody will understand the text of this song...

poxpower responds:

Well I chose "tier" because of the awesome solo parts or whatever you want to call them ( the ones where I put the FBF). Those are just incredible. Best moments in any Rammstein song. And I chose Rammstein because I love em' and I didn't respect the lyrics because no on cares.

Awesome

Good job man. Really captured the song in your flash. I liked the whole "Industrial" theme you gave it, very good graphics

poxpower responds:

Yay I achieved my goal with you then :) Glad you liked it man.

NICE!!!

nice graphics and animation.
u have chosen wisely whit the rd background collor , gives the feeling of a hostile enviroment.

i know u said u dont wanna make it a serie but considder just 2 make an ending for this movie.

if u dont 2 bad , but no problm.

Keep working . 2 thumbs up. :D

poxpower responds:

there is an ending. And it sucks :) But its a music vid, what does one excpet :p

Stylish...

This music-video is bursting with style. You started with one theme, and kept it the same throughout the movie. The red, white and black coloring was very effective and I'm glad you stuck to your color scheme through the whole thing.

The animations consisted of two styles: A blocky, industrial style and a fully frame-by-frame animation of the robots in action. Both of these styles would seem to clash, but in this particular movie they surprisingly blend well. It's one thing seeing a robot limp slowly across the screen like in one segment, and then seeing it in full motion in another segment.

The music was an excellent choice. It had a very factory like feel to it. No sfx were needed because the song you chose provided those sfx for you.

My only two minor problems with this movie are:
1. The scenes were interesting at first, but by the end of the movie, they just seemed stretched out and a tad boring.

2. That guy who i guess is the "leader" only had 3 poses...it would have been nice to see him animated a bit more instead of him looking like a puppet attached to a stick when he was walking.

Other than that, an excellent submission.

Note: A score of 0 simply means that catergory does not apply.

poxpower responds:

So I guess in retrospect, all of you hate how I didn't animate that "leader" ( I like seing you guys come up with names for him). Yeah I'll give you that :p Plus its too long.. true as well. Although I think I did an ok job with the ending, for someone who wanted to end this after the 2nd FBF moment. But yeah its sorta slow :p
thanks for the review.

I wish there was a loop funtion on flash...

I like the pulsating graphics and I gotta admit that I can't see any flaw, at all. Maybe the audio was a bit shabby, try better quality. But the style variation and idea rocks my world. Maybe you could have add some more movement for the "mad man" and maybe some more people involved. But I bet you sought simplicity...

I can't see anything that may hinder your work for the fans. Gotta say I'm almost one of them. Keep up the work!!!
