this did exactly what i assume it was meant to do...which is scare the living shit out of ppl i didnt finish it because i actually jumped out of my chair when i found the severed head in the microwave.....mmm....head
Creepy but good
The graphics were a little too murky; I had to turn up my screen brightness more than my eyes are comfortable with before I could *see* the front door of the house, let alone click on it. Other than that, it was quite good and (un)pleasantly reminiscent of classic point-and-click horror adventures such as Phantasmagoria. The good/evil endings were a definite plus.

It took me three attempts to complete this game, but I recommend you LOOK EVERYWHERE. When you think you've tried everything, and you lose your patience look again!! Lots of fun, and great to play late at night in the dark....ENJOY, I did!!!

its been years since ive actually been scared. this flash reinvoked the thrill of fear for me, and the guy running at you in the cave and how he gets his head cut off was kind of funny. hence the 3 on humor
Pretty good but still missing...something
The story line was great, I thought, but the events throughout could have been more epic. For example, the head in the microwave seemed quite cliché...there was more that could have been done. Also, what do the 'exmortis' look like anyway, and what do they do. All that was covered was waking up in the middle of a snow-covered forest with no recollection of how you ended up there. Seeing that the dilapidated house in the distance is your only chance for survival in the freezing cold, you enter, soon realizing that it's a gaping gateway to hell...or something. I'm not really sure. Good game though...can't wait for the sequel :)
