Wow, It really is scary
When i played it for the second time (trying to figure out what to do) i noticed at the begining it says tourn lights off and volume up i turned off the lights when the credits was rollin and those pictures of dead ppl flahsing i was liek fuck this i am playign with the lights on - lol.
Oh yeah good game still have no clue what to do though.
This game is very clever.
I think the game is true perfection. However, I can't access the first 4 symbole to get to the celler. I would like some help. Other then this small problem I thing the concept of this it great. I would like to see this game in the form of an old Circus of Carnival that has been run-down. Would be very scary.

I just can't play it without hearing a voice saying "Oh oh man.. screw this, quit this game, you're gonna have a heart attack man."
It is very creepy, great ambiance and the diary found in the lounge room, it was just.. so well suited with the theme of the game.

i am pissed
i tried my best to figure this game out without using any help or guides, but after i saw the head with the symbol, found the knife, read the diary, got the key, saw the combo/symbol in the attic, opened the safe, saw the symbol, read the exmortis, read about gwen, saw gwen and even clicked on the clock face, upsidedown pentagram and the volume of lettered books i was in need of some help to continue. then i found out after looking through reviews and author's replies that i had done exactly what i needed to do. some people mentioned an axe, which i've looked for with no luck. i click on all objects as well as scroll through them with the tab button, but find no axe. so after re-doing everything just incase, i'm left feeling just a little pissed. i'm no closer to getting in the cellar. and now i pretty much have lost all interest. there was a great mood to the game and it built suspense well, but after this wild goose chase i became comfortable playing this game and lost any of the tense, anxious feelings i had when starting out. and that is a real shame, because i really liked this. apparently there were walkthroughs as well. i tried both links. neither works. all just a huge let down
