i must congratulate you for creating such a masterpiece with your very first attempt, lighting, atmosphere, everything was in the right place....personally, its one of the most interesting real horror games i've played in a while....all i can see is keep it up, and i look forward to your next piece...if you plan to do one that is

Yeah first screen flash scream thing scared me but that was about the most scared I was whew had my heart racing good game.
Evil Dead meets Blair Witch - scary though!!!
Definately needed a flash game like this!!! Influences by Evil Dead and Blair Witch a little much, but what the hell... I didn't mind another version of both! I definately jumped alot... good job!! Could use some light and some fixes to finding clues (took some messing around to finally get the axe). Flashbacks were cool, but you could use that to explain what actually happened, and explain what happens at the end (alternate ending confusing).
Overall, excellent job!! Looking forward to next one!

Grapics - 7 - Some things are hard to see, I couldn't quite make out the guy in the attic, and the appirations were hardly noticeable.
Style - 10 - The design of the game was good.
Sound - 8 - Some of the sounds distorted in my speakers. I gave you an 8, because that could be because of file compression.
Violence - 9 - It wasn't too violent; only one person actually died.
Interactivity - 7 - There were a lot of objects that had no relevence to the story. You didn't have to write anything on them. I mean, what was with the old fan that hadn't operated for years, and the phonograph? Also, you had to do things in a certain order, or the storyline won't work. Maybe you could make the events affect each other less?
Humor - 0 - Of course, it wasn't meant to be humorous...
Overall - 9 - It was cool. It took a lot of figuring out, though. It took me a couple hours. You do good work. I personally would like to see more.
As if Silent Hill wasn't creepy enough.
