.. Holy Crap.
I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with this flash that you made, especially since you stated that it was your first. Not only did it satisfy my need for a horror driven mystery story but it also heightened my standards on how they should be made. There were times where I wanted to wretch out the contents of my stomach, due to the overall foreboding and atmosphere of the game. Even during the beginning sequence of events I couldn't help but feel nauseous as I clicked my way through the house. Truthfully I thought something was going to pop out at me every time I went into a new room.
However there was one thing that bothered me to no end, and that was the fact that it is extremely irritating to play this game in a lighted space. I had to squint at the screen a fair amount of times to see if there was something there or not. If you could define some of the images a bit more it would be much appreciated.
All those things aside, great job!

I'd love to give it a great intereactivity rating, but once the house came up nothing happened and I couldn't do anything...maybe post controls or something?
I think it looks awesome and from what I read from the other reviews you've got a lot of elements that I like, like RE or Silent Hill.
Anyway, I feel lame :( lol
i couldn't play, but i know it would've kicked ass
i dunno.. am i bugged or is there something at the beginning i can figure out, because all i come to is the moon on the top left and i can see the shadow of the house but i can't do anything, and it's pitch dark so i dunno where to click, and believe me, i've been clicking for a while. looking at your graphics they were pretty pimp, the sounds works very well, you got good style and taste. =D
if someone else could clear up for me what to do at the beginning or something like that, much would be appreciated!
Wow one of the best flash games I have seen
I had all but given up on finding any creepy games online to play until I was reading through the G4 news and they mention this game and gave a link. To my surprise this game was flash game on Newgrounds, a site I have used only to watch flash movies. It turned out to be a very interesting game overall and I can't wait to play the others. Keep up the good work!
