that was a pretty well made game for your first flash. both endings were pretty cool but the woods one.... omg leads you back to the begging :O that would flucking suck if that happened in real life.

Cellar door
Still can't get by them... I have read three books (one in safe, one in library, and the diary), and saw four bloody symbols (one by the hand in library, one in the safe, one by the body on the attic, and one on the head in the kitchen).
I looked up in your walkthrough and it seems, that I wasn't warned to remember in the cellar before interacting with Gwen... Could it be the problem?
Otherwise, great game, it gave me the chills ^^'
Very creepy!
You have done a great job of making this a creepy game and the graphics are great they hold up to modern standards! The only thing that kept me from giving this a 5 was how everything is clicked on, so it's hard to find what it is that's clickable in the first place! I still loved the atmosphere and those creepy screams shown at the beginning. There's no music, simply because it's a very authentic scary game made. There's no glamor or crazy stuff going on, just the right amount of creepiness. I'm very surprised this didn't win a single award.

Wow one of the best flash games I have seen
I had all but given up on finding any creepy games online to play until I was reading through the G4 news and they mention this game and gave a link. To my surprise this game was flash game on Newgrounds, a site I have used only to watch flash movies. It turned out to be a very interesting game overall and I can't wait to play the others. Keep up the good work!
