Geninuely creepy game with a nice story too
Being the scaredy cat that I am, I played this game in full daylight with the volume off.
It still creeped me out, which is testamount to the intense atmosphere and *great* graphics of the game. And the blood and severed limbs are VERY real. O_o
With the creepy atmosphere also came an interesting story about the Exmortis and how it ties it in with you, the player. I liked reading all the way through the diary you find at one point. It's wonderful to find a game that has both style and substance in healthy, generous doses. The ending was also clever and very ironic at the same time. Run away...again?
Awesome graphics, 10 for scariness factor, an actual story all add up to a perfect 10.

Please respond! First off, who was the ghost at the end of the hallway? Was it Xavier? And who played him in real life? You? If you did, nice work! Also, what the hell was the ghost saying? SCARY!!! Next, how did blood get on Xavier's bed? I thought that he killed Gwen. By the way, if you chose to runaway, and you don't make it, what is happening in the near darkness? Are you being dragged away? And what the bloody hell is the thing that knocks you down outside when you runaway? Did you play it to? And I assume that the faces at the beginning are the campers? And why was the statue staring at you? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS!!!!
Now to the game. Very good! You are a master of horror! I couldn't imagine how the guy felt as he explored the house!!!
I can't wait for the third installment of this series!
