This is freakin great! I love how you made everything look good by using photoshop!! Are you the guy in the microwave?? Hahaha that was great!! Although I got stuck after the Library it's still pretty bad ass!! Great Game!!
Actually, I'm the guy that scares ya straight after the Exmortis title disappears in the intro. Yes - I am ugly, but chicks still dig me :) heheh...

Well done, you successfully delivered the atmosphere and made a good puzzle game. You could use a few advanced scripting tricks to make it harder (render tab useless, avoid the right-click > play solution to the final puzzle, etc). My only real gripe is the story, which shares a striking resemblance to the Eternal Darkness story (a game for Game Cube), which also happened to be a atmospheric horror puzzle game (probbaly some other adjectives too). The whole ancients controlling earth and bringing them back to power bit... Atleast toss it into the credits :P
Eternal Darkness? Never played it. Never owned a game cube. I actually got the idea for this story from a short film I am creating. The actual story in it's entirety was made up as a made the game.
As far as scripting tricks, I only figured out how to use basic ActionScript about halfway through making this game! lol! Any links to ActionScript tutorials to do the above would be muchly appreciated :)

Let me Break It Down
Go to the attic, get the pass for the safe. Go into the bed room and go behind the painting, click on the symbol, then to the bath. Get the key out of the sink, then down stairs. Make sure you stop off at the celler. then tot eh kitchen, wonder what popin in the microwave. Then to the jouger, Reader every book you can find all over the house. Search for symbols next to every body part. after to found all of those things, go back upstairs to the left and meet Gwen. Back down stairs to the celler, grab the axe, go down the hallway and meet a friend he likes axes to the head. then beat the game.
