Congratulations
The first flash game to EVER make me feel even the least beat scared. This game was superb.. I mean, the atmosphere was great, the music, sounds.. ect.
Anyway.. Explainations..
Graphics - 8
Graphics were good, but not too great. I realize that you had to keep the graphics down to keep the file limit, so yeah. The graphics still weren't all that bad at times.
Style - 10
The style was excellent. You actually combined all the elements correctly, and created a scary flash game. I didn't think it was possible. The plot was nice, too. Seems like you went out with some thought into it, or took it from somewhere. Either way, bravo!
Sound - 10
I loved the sound and music! It was often quiet, and there were times when the music would stop.. which usually meant something was gonna happen. But.. when nothing did, I wasn't sure when I should expect the next "suprise" - so I was always on the edge of my seat, so to speak. I also enjoyed the whispers that occasionally happened, and all the screams and other things like that.. marvolous.
Violence - 10
What can I say? I mean.. look at all the blood, the decapitated head in the microwave... Heh.
Interactivity - 8
Not 100% interactive, but interactive nonetheless. I usually dislike games like this (In fact, the only one I enjoyed up until now would be Shadow Gate) - but not too bad.
Humor - 0
Even though I found the floating guy with the head a little funny.. because I'm just stupid like that.. scarey games are not supposed to have humor in it XD. This is discluded from the overall score.
Overall - 9 (Truely more of an 8.5, and humor is discluded)
The game is great, with a few flaws in it - as all games have. A lack of clues makes the game hard, and the slow times between entering an leaving rooms became a major pain. And.. if you could..
I couldn't figure out what to do after clicking on the ghost. I figured that that painting on the wall, (with the.. uhmm.. pentagram, is it?) was a clue to the keypad. The star that had 142536 on it, or something like that. I entered 14253, then the "keypad" (or whatever it was) would brighten up in the corner. I'd click enter, and it unbrightens. I tried 142536, and 142539 in case the 6 was upside down.. Maybe you could point me in the right direction from here?
