eh, it's not that bad....
if you are stuck and can't get into the basement it's because you either:
haven't read the three books in order (exmortis, library journal, study journal).
and/or you haven't clicked on gwen.
if you are stuck at the part where you combine the symbols, it's the fourth, then the fifth, then the first, then the second, and finally the third. 4, 5, 1, 2, 3

Okay. I must admit, this did remind me ALOT of resident evil. You know - blood, guts, the whole "oh no - we're stuck in the woods and there's no way out unless we solve this complex puzzle"....so with that said, I love the graphics/sound/setting. I think the intro scared me even more than the game did. Cause it's like you know those stupid pictures are coming, but it still scares the shit out of you. Oh well. I love what you did with this (even though I wasn't able to get through the whole thing) and I'd love to see more of your work. ;)

It was freakish but im one of those kinda of guys who isn't scared easy....... but yea great game but i couldn't beat it i got to the safe try 1500000000 different passwords and nuttin :(

this was a sweet game i died twice when thet guy came from nowhere and said 'ill kill you son-of-a-bitch!' i forgot i had the axe and i was like wtf then i died =/ lol then i realized 'duh i have an axe HIT HIM DAMN IT >.<' so i did ^^ great ending and confusing puzzles
really damn good
This is really an overall excellent game.
There's a good storyline, there are a few puzzles to solve, great graphics, good sound, different endings and it's scary as hell.
This is one of the best games on newgrounds. I had a great time playing it and I really hope you submit more work like this.
