Help for stuck people
For those who can't find all the symbols, check the attic(over the bedroom door), in the safe, in the microwave, and near the hand of the severed arm. The combination for the safe is in the attic as well.
To solve the pentagram, remember the diagram on the wall in the dark hall? Follow that order:upper left, middle right, middle left, upper right, and finally bottom, on the pentagram to spell out the Ancient's name. Just a hint for the letters: They're upside-down or sideways, so that 'A' may not actually be an A...

Okay, so i got a little lost in the house but managed to get everything (at least i think everything) i am supposed to have to open the basement door but no luck so far with it. I have read three books, collected 4 symbols and found everything else i think there is to find ( not gonna mention them cause i think everyone should struggle with it a little anyway). I can't get in there, I even tried cheating and going through the whole game right clicking and selecting play... Explain how I am still locked out.
