Totally speechless...
To me there are two different types of scared: Things that jump out at you and surprise you. The other is a very creepy atmosphere
where you dont know if something is right around the corner.
You succeeded in the latter which takes so much more effort. Amazing job! Even the backround and "wind" sounds where scary!

Great game, but there is still the cellar bug.
I beat this game when it first came to newgrounds in the summer i think it was. It scared the hell out of me the first time i played it. Now i played it again still slightly scary. However i cant get throungh the cellar. I saw all of the symbols ( microwave, safe, near the severed arm in library, and the attic ). I also read all of the books ( diary, Gwen's death, and the other book by xavior for got which one it was ). Hell i even read the exmortis. I interacted with Gwen. I still cant get through the door. I would have given the game a 10 overall, but the cellar bug just stops everything.

I couldnt get through the cellar door. Even though all the walkthroughs told me to read the diary then visit the little ghost girl then I shall pass. I COULDNT PASS GOD DAMNIT!

this was so kool. im dumb so i had 2 use the walkthru but man u gotta make more. the only thing that sucked was wen u kill the guy with the axe. it looks really shit. but o well the rest ruled....MAKE MORE!!
Nice use of sound and images
You made this a bit creepy, and must have put a lot of work into it. The use of sound, whether it be abrupt or drawn out was excellent. There was actually a very nice puzzle as well. Overall, most excellent!
