Aboslute masterpiece!
This is an amazing game! It's also really really scary! I almost pissed myself when the face popped up as soon as it loaded! I got freaked out when that head appeared in the microwave. And this was 2:00 in the afternoon! There is NO WAY I'll play this game alone in the house at 3:00 in the morning!

Wow, this game is much better than I'd expect. It does have some puzzles that you might not be able to find, and the documents you find could almost be stories in themselves. It's interesting to unravel the mysteries. The occassional thumps, whispers, and screams freaked me out. There is some decent gore, and the atmosphere overall is pretty creepy.
The only complaint that I have is that sometimes, it's hard to find the clickable stuff. When you put the cursor over it, it does display a message, or the object will change color slightly, but still, you might miss something and get stuck.
But besides that, this is a game well worth your time, if you like a good scare. I was in a well-lit room, with my dog, and I still got freaked out and had to look behind me every once in a while.

You're a genius. This game was so scary. Each time I went in the hallway I was scared to open the cellar door. I had my sound up very loud and because of that I didn't get much sleep last night. Clicking on Gwen's ghost scared the hell out of me, I don't think I've ever been so scared playing a flash game before. The graphics were as close to real as can be, and the storyline was incredible. The music and sound effects just added to the whole frightening package. Well done, I can't wait until the 2nd installment in the series, and I hope for it to be very scary, yet an addictive plot, just like this one. I can't resist coming back for more. :)
breath-taking, best horror i've seen in forever
wow. just wow. this movie rocks my socks to the next dimension, the creepy backround music, the voices, the looks of the house and ghosts looks--just DANG! man i'm looking forward to number 2, i don't think you can top the first one though this has it all, it's not as scary as i had hopped, but then again how scary can something get when it comes to flash? GREAT JOB! this is the absolute best horror game i've EVER played and it's VERY addicting ^.^
