Scariest Flash game I have ever played...

Well actually, this is the ONLY flash game to ever scare me, so even better! Superb setting of atmosphere; the lack of ingame music very much helps the feeling of solitude, and the sounds, from the howls of the ghosts to the wind in the forest, are brilliantly done (also, cracking use Bruce Campbells scream from the end of The Evil Dead :P).
The graphics and drawings are superbly done, and the story is fresh and original. My only complaint is that there is a faint but noticeable square around any moving object; the man in the cellar, the lightshade in the bedroom, the ghosts etc, which does detract from the scare just a tiny bit, but this is just nitpicking and in does not draw the overall quality down.

A fantastic game all round. I will definatly have to play the second one :P

TEN, TEN, TEN! One of the best games here!!!!!!

As you can tell, I'm a fan of dark things, and this game was not only really creepy, but it made you think, love the ending. Still have to try out the sequel but I'm sure it's already a big hit. Keep it cool and dark player! Totally far out man!

Utterly terrifying, and a great story!

The atmosphere is a wonderful chilling experiance that has a feeling of uncertanty of what is around the next turn. the audio blends perfectly with the video, the light, dark and every combonation thereof are very realistic.
also the begining scene in front of the house reminds me of ZORK 1.

Maximum Creep-factor

Great creepy, gory game! I figured out the twist at the ending within a few minutes though. That being said, it STILL made my stomach turn when the twist finally came about! THAT'S some good horror right there!
Sadly, I am a totally pansy-assed wimp and turned the sound off because I can't take sudden SHOCKS well at all. So I missed out on anything that had to be comunicated to the player by sound!
Wonder how deaf players get through it? XP

good

Just as good the second time around
