Reviews for "Prowlies at the River"

Sweetness

that was awsome
Great work

Fantastic

Very well done. I'm sure you get tons of praise as it is, and this will be no different. Obviously your prior position as a film animator has a lot to do with your current style. I enjoy your particle effects, and your water is amazing. I hope you continue your Brackenwood series. you are by far the best animator i have ever seen. Keep it up.

Fan-funking-tastic

You have little to no idea how brilliant this is in comparison to most stuff I see now adays. This is like bliss wrapped with extra transendance sauce in a home made chicken fajita.
Breakdown:

Graphics: Your artistry of the backgrounds and even characters is no less then brilliant. I'd watch these without sound, in lowest quality with a computer using a modem built for paperweight uses only. Yes, it'd still be THAT good. Also the smooth feel of the animation is much appreciated. The only thing I'd change is more use of motion blending when the character is just moving in the first few scenes, after that it's positively jaw-dropping to witness.

Style: Fresh and REfreshing from your run of the mill stick, clock, shoot 'em up let 'em die style that simply chokes the artistic side of newgrounds that I so dearly cherish. Your workings with 2-D and 3-D animation is innovative. It's been attempted many time before in your no-name brand NG flash but not like this.

Sound: It was refreshing, but now without it's flaws. The music matched well with the animation I admit, and the sound effects worked along side it with a kind of mythical whimsical setting. The production was a bit cheap but what can you do with a constant need to lower your filesize.

Violence: Bitey is now in my top 10 things or people I wouldn't want to meet in a dark alleyway. He's a killing machine with a style that can't be topped... except for perhaps madness but he has weapons and such. The fight scene between Bitey and the Prowlies was one edge-of-your-seat show stopper if ever there was one.

Interactivity: Basics, I appreciate the high, medium, low begining part and it comes with website links and replay. But, as I have said in so many reviews before I only give the 10 of 10 for full out. Menu bar, stop, play, rewind, and so on. Good work though.

Humor: Heh, pee.

... No seriously it was HI-larious. The part with the lizard, and the Prowlies, and the pissing Gremlin Elf thing... hell I almost wet my pants... or had to go piss in a river... whichever... yesh...

Overall another excelent addition to the Adam Phillips repetoire of pure non stop goodness.

P.S. What was your inspiration for the character "Bitey" and what was the most difficult part of producing this animation?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I burst out laughing in the end. Why doesn't Bitey ever talk?

Awesome

This is the second best movie i have seen on NG, it is second only to the graphics of Fallen Angel:Teaser but this movies sound is much better. Keep doin what your doin because its almost perfect
