The odds that you won't be able to make a living from your animation at some point are between slim and none.
There are maybe a half dozen animators on NG that are going somewhere. You're three of them.

As I said in my review, good going with this project. I think you have accomplished what you originally set out to do, to tell stories, and you tell them great; The art is just a visualisation of your stories. Have good fun with flash, dont get to stressed out with it though :D.
