execution over concept

This movie does a good job at capturing the theme that its going for and Ill give it a 10 in style for that. Voice acting would have been alot worse if there is more of it, but it stuck to the action so I dont think it hurt the movie at all. For its simplicity, its very well written..

i mean its a lame overdone premise, and felt more like an ending to a movie.. but it was the execution of it, the little intricacies that shaped it together. Memorable moment for me was when he said "ill free you" to the pixie... great writing, I thought I was watching a real japanese anime for a second... i cant stress enough, how much i liked the style and execution of the whole thing. It makes the movie.

Write a whole screenplay, get a couple of better voice actors and christ, you will be living the dream. Please dont ever stop doing this, you have a REAL TALENT in filmmaking.

Suggestion for improvement? Stay away from cliches.. it kind of brought this movie down, but didnt ruin it because it was so short and didnt have room for too many. If you ever make anything bigger, PLEASE PLEASE add as much originality as possible... it will definately topple over any flash movie done to this day.

That was awesome! One of, if not, the best flash animation ever. Keep up the good work.

I loved the story, and the animation was almost flawless, the style and graphics in which it was done were also VERY good.

Kick Ass!!!!!!

That was one of the two greatest flashes I've ever seen on Newgrounds. I can't remember the other cause so many people input crap but this one should top the charts. The background music was laid excellently next to the superbly rendered graphics and it actually had a plot!!!!! Well fuckin' done!!!!!!!

this is without a shred of doubt one of the best flashes i've ever seen. usually, when artists attempt something this ambitious, they just us all worked up with a credit intro that's WAY over the top, takes up five minutes, and then show two minutes of action, followed by a TO BE CONTINUED... but not this time!

the art was great. i like how you used multiple colors on ppl's faces to show shape and shading. i liked the look of the characters and how we saw each of them from various angles, even bit characters like the sprite in the beginning. i esecially liked all the expressions our protagonist showed, really put a lot of depth into his character for such a short piece.

the musical choices were perfect, very moving. the only improvement i could think of is a bit more soundtrack optimization, as i heard pops and drop outs occasionally when two sounds would conflict with each other, but that is the only flaw i noticed.

i liked the simplicity of the story. his friends were wronged. he went to avenge them, and set someone free as well. you continued through three fights. at the end of each one, i was sure you'd hit me with a TBC..., but you didn't. you followed through, and even showed his death, and the sprite, now a woman set free, mourning at his grave.

this was wonderful. really wonderful. thanks so much for making this. :)
