A great new twist on an old classic

The Good:
This classic piece of flash has been taken to new heights with all of the animation completely redone. The animation was nearly flawless. The sounds were all very well done. And the original lyrics seem to remain unchanged. A truly excellent piece of flash animation!

The Bad:
Some of the voices were scratchy at parts. The voices also seemed to shift between different voice actors at other points.

The Overall:
Star Wars Gangsta Rap (The Original) was the first Flash I ever watched on NG, I am glad to see that the Special Edition did not alter the things that made this Flash an NG classic. An excellent work, a must see for all NG viewers! This flash will make the front page.

Dude. that was wayyyy better than the original. i really like the fact that you used scenes and actual sound effects from the movie in this remake. keep it up man!

Well..

Of course, everyone sings great praise of this. And it deserves it. Very well done. You can tell a lot of time and effort was put into this.

But for those of us who remember, it is old. And in some ways, I prefer the old version to this. I can remember the laughter, and wanting to show my friends the old version. Now it's been several years. I watch this now just to see it, not to laugh. It's not funny anymore.. It's too stylized. Too "MTV cool".

I also don't like how Newgrounds just isn't good enough to see the "full, extended version" of this cartoon. What's that about? Credibility on Atomfilms is more important than Newgrounds? Whatever, guys. I for one won't bother.

No, not credibility on atomfilms, it's because atomfilms actually PAY US, unlike with newgrounds. I've said that in the intro already. We gotta make ends meet too you know.
