i saw the first and wasn't too impressed, it actually kinda sucked. but this one was way better.

This is the second best rap cartoon I've seen since Slim Santa.
The Best Visual Performance on Newgrounds to Date
Let's run down your visual analysis:
+ You certainly have easing down.
+ You understand perspective.
+ Your mouth animation is timed correctly.
+ You have good character layouts.
+ Your animation was overall smooth and well-done.
- You used an excess amount of imported jpg/gif files for a few things (primarily backgrounds).
- You used radial gradients way too much on your character models.
- Your mouth animation could be better. You need to watch yourself saying it in a mirror. Also, if you really want to do it well, you should use a mask and move the teeth under it with motion tweens, and move the tongue underneath with shape tweens. You should also be sure to move the lower jaw whenever his mouth opens more than just a little bit. If you don't feel like doing that, at least remove those lines around the sides of the mouth. They are unnecessary and actually make it look worse.
- You, for some reason, altered the alpha on some of your lines. I don't know why you did this. It's unnecessary, and it would probably look better without that.
You did a very very nice job even with those suggestions. I haven't seen better on newgrounds, fortunately or unfortunately. You deserve #1 on the charts here at newgounrds more than anyone else. Keep up the good job and follow my suggestions and you'll get very far.

Wow, you have a keen eye! Thanks for the sincere review! The alpha on some of the lines was intended to make some shapes look soft, like the skin, metal glow, etc... but I only discovered to do that half-way, so some of the lines of the alphas remain unchanged, cuz it'd be too much work to go back and change all of them... I know what you are saying about it being unecessary, but I just wanted to try new effects too :P
