The Apex of Macromedian Action Cinema!!!
Krinkelz, immeasurably famous for bringin tha MADNESS, returnz once more for the next installment in this critically-acclaimed, unparalleled seriez. And boy duz he deliver!
Madness Apotheosis, against all oddz, EASILY outdoez itz predecessorz in every element of cinematography. The graphix, while fundamentally unchanged (though still gorgeous, mind you), now feature multiple anglez of perspective, allowing the audience to appreciate the extensive amount of detail even further than before. The action, easily the marquee element of theez filmz, iz in full supply here, with gunz ablazing and swordz-a-slicin. The body count was removed in this segment, a subtle change, but one for the better, I believe. The focus has been shifted to the inhuman determination of our nameless protagonist, as opposed to who he must slay in his way, thus a casualty counter is superfluous and Krinkelz wisely omitz it here.
Speaking of the plot, a small premise with quick shots from previous installmentz appearz, giving newbiez an idea of why one man is going on a killing spree. Sure, the action is more than enough to carry this seriez, but enhancement of the plot elevates the engagement factor of this installment from noteable to SKY FUCKIN HIGH. I was also much more pleased with the choice of BG music here . . . for some reason it just blended in better than in "Redeemer," especially the choice of trance music in the final room and the final song the clown playz at the end, a nice throwback to "Combat." Any fan of this seriez from the beginning will appreciate that.
The wide variety of artillery was impressive and kept the action fresh, but what was even more impressive were the accuracy of the firing sounds , muzzle power, and firing rate exclusive to each gun. I am a huge fan of "Max Payne 2," and have consequentially acquainted myself to a wide range of armz, many of which appear in this "Madness." The representationz do perfect justice.
Finally, in what may have been an allusion to "Kill Bill," our main man sported a flawlessly crafted katana with a Japanese engraving. The sword play in this film rivaled the "guntalk" in terms of quality, but most would agree that the heaterz were more exciting and are the backbone of the visualz.
And there you have it, folkz. The Master of Madness returnz with another blockbuster installment, which may provide entertainment, excitement and elation than all of his past filmz combined(?). They said it couldn't be done, but Krinkels dug deep and put together an unforgettable, magnificent flash that undoubtedly haz a place in the Macrodmedian Hall of Fame.
BOTTOM LINE: The One-and-Only One Man Army returnz for REVENGE . . . and hez either leaving with what he came for or dyin' tryin'.
