I don't know how that got number 1 daily feature. I had to sign up specifically to comment to this movie. That was kind of stupid. I know there is a "message" to this movie. That message is: You must say, "I totally understand. That has lots of meaning." or you're not cool. It was stupid if you ask me.

I got the symbolism and everything, but this was just really boring to watch. It was too slow and nothing really happened.

You must realise in advance; This is like heaven for me. Really, the only way it could get better than this, is if a straight out goth wrote a flash movie about how much their life sucked. But this is about as close as I can find, so, here comes the fire, kiddo.
Okay. What the hell do you think you're doing? Do you think you're being poetic? Creative? Original, even? You do of coarse realise how this is none of the above. You may say, "I don't care! My work is art and no one understands how I feel!", but if you really felt that way, you wouldn't be submitting this art on an international online website, would you? It's not poetic; It doesn't deserve the title of art. It's not creative, or original, because both of these are very similar, and these particular styles of work, have been done so many times that it's not funny.
Are you trying to reacreate something by Giger with that machine? I can already see the message of this: "Human socioty are robots, making you smile, otherwise they cast you out. Don't conform!". You know what I really hate about you dark goth types? You ruin everything. You get great ideas, and then whinge-afy it. You know what? I love this idea. I support it entirely. I believe and enforce what it says. But you know what else? I got tired of enforcing it after it was done 50,000 times. The problem with you goths is that you take good ideas, then use them to a sponge-like mush. You make it sound whingey, instead of saying "This is how life is, fight against it," you say "This is how life is, everything sucks, and I'm just going to give up and die because there's nothing I can do". So you know what I say? Add some colours, give the guy a gun/sword/knife/telekinetic powers, and have him beat the shit out of the five just as he is dying, and I will support this.
Until then? Grow up. Life is hard, but that's no reason to keel over. Hurry up and adopt a point of view that doesn't depress, annoy, shit, and overall just piss off everyone else. mKay? Mata ne.

I understand the message you're trying to convey but it's done really bad. Everyone is saying "it makes you think". Well it does just that if you're a drama mongering teenager. If others are trying to make you "smile" when you don't want to then get some balls and stand up to them. This is another "abstract expressionist" animation that over dramatizes a real world social issue ad nauseam. I can see how this animation would be very popular amongst the New Grounds viewers though since the whole "the world is against you" philosphy seems to be very predominant with them. Guess what! It's not.
