Reviews for "Smile!"

umm

no offense, but that was seriously messed up

Hmmm...

When first I watched it, I waited for some kind of meaning to present itself. One notices that the robots are all stereotypical highschool students. A reviewer further down thinks that they basically put your normal average joe on the spot and demand that he be like them...and when he can't they kill him/whatever. I was expecting something a bit more by the end of it...being an english major and poet, I'm use to this sense of rambling, minimalist, symbolism. I think I just thought about it too hard. I was picturing some technologically advanced Sci-Fi society in which this is a type of psychological torture they administer to a race they have conquered for their own enjoyment. But then they ended up being robots. I would have assumed that the robots were testing the conquered race for certain mental or physical characteristics that can only be brought out through this kind of examination under duress: fear, paranoia, synaptic reflexes. Testing them one by one for whatever use they can find in their "society" as it were.

One must keep in mind that there is no wrong interpretation of art. Art is not static, it is dynamic, to each person it means something different, and if you can walk away from it with something that someone else does not see, that just reaffirms your individualism.

With a simple sentence or deft brushstroke you can engender an infinite amount of worlds beyond your own comprehension or scope.

OMFG

UMMMMMMMMMMMM THAT WAS FUCKED UP DUDE. I HOPE THAT KINDA SHIT NEVER HAPPENS IN REAL LIFE. DAMN!

wtf??

I didn't really get it and the ending screwed me up a lil but it was still cool

Alright.

It was good, I liked it, but could've been a lot more dark.
