Excellent Flash

I believe this flash is one of the best movies on NG. And I don't understand how so many people are saying "Great movie, but it went to shit in the end, it didn't make sense." Yes, the ending fit the movie perfectly, if you didn't get it the first time you watched it you should have watched it again. It's basically saying that if you aren't like other people, they won't care what the hell happens to you. You could die, and they would just go on with their lives. It's one of the sad truths about today's world. Anyway, excellent job.

Amazing

Really, beautiful work. What I got from it, society is forcing you to be cheery, often times I've been told I need to smile...I smile plenty when there's something worth smiling about. But everyone expects you to be happy and chipper all the time. The guy was being persecuted for not being happy, I assume the nails represented comments and insults, barbs if you will. Then the ending simply showed that the people who are forcing their happiness on others are simply robots, programmed to be happy, incapable of really thinking about what a smile and being happy should mean. And then they just go about their carnal business like normal disgusting humans do. Bravo.

Very strange

This was an insane video very artsy i really liked it. I think this artist really knows what he doing. its a very strange video but its got an underlining subject dealing with conformism. I thought this video was great

This is #1 on my favourites list

This is awsome, and i loved the music and style of it. I think it's about society, and how we have to keep smiling on the outside, even if we are crying on the inside, otherwise people think we are strange and suicidal. The people in this flash who are smiling (the ones pushing the buttons) are robots, and they represent those of us who wear masks and pretend to be happy. Not sure about the party at the end, though. Well thats my interpritation. Still my favourite flash, keep up the good work.

This is an absolutely brilliant flash movie.

I love this flash movie, plain and simple. It's one of the best on Newgrounds, and in my opinion, raises the bar for what should be considered good flash videos. But, of course, it's shamefully underappreciated by most flash viewers (it should be in the top 10, but I guess that's not so important.)

First of all, the music was excellent. It enhanced the delightfully depressing atmosphere of the video perfectly. The black and white color scheme did much the same; a good choice for this kind of flash movie. The graphics were well animated, and moved very smoothly.

And finally, it had a great message about conformity and society as a whole. I would even go so far as to call it an Orwellian flash video. I have mixed feelings about the ending, however. On one hand, it feels like it was simply put in for the sake of comedic relief. On the other hand, it added to the overall message.
