Wow, you dont see enough of this... Truly amazing. I loved how the person struggled to smile to the very end, and it was quite entertaning. The ending, like you said, did confuse me- To me I got out that they were robots (it showed in their faces when you showed the 3/4th view), so I didnt understand the ending, but it added humor to it, so I enjoyed it. Also, the music was perfect!

Its like a totalitarianism state, where you're forced to smile..........or die.
The sound added a claustrophobic prescence to the flash as well, and it worked better without the special effects too.
Very gritty and dark, and the 'leaders' indulging in depraved acts afterwards sort of increased the macabre of it.
You may have a David Lynch thing going on there.
