Awesome.
Do you know how many people I'm going to send this to, and they're going to think it's something happy and light-hearted, and come away depressed and horrified? Thank you very much.
By the way, to those who think the disco ball ruined the ending, turn up your speakers: the sad, melancholy tune is still going on in the background. Ever watch a movie and they have an old 50's tune playing while something brutal happens on-screen? How about a guy in a car listening to rock music just before his car is attacked by monsters? It's a sort of auditory irony, something completely off-key to the feel of the rest of the story. The disco music is what the characters are listening to; we as the audience are still listening to the sadness and strangeness that belies and permeates the entire animation. It makes the ending all the more psychotic and eerie because after that brutal murder for reasons we can't begin to understand, they celebrate by fucking while listening to party music.
Just to clear things up. One of the best submissions on Newgrounds, and apparently one of the least understood finales.
