I like the setup and area and surroundings... the black and white also add a scary effect. But the music adds a low down sadness and it's quite disturbing in a creative way. Good stuff.
Beautiful Execution
I can still remember the first time I saw this short. The overall feeling it left me with wasn't necessarily a feeling of sadness or some other type of depressive state. I felt this sense of rebellion as if I was some child who was beaten one too many times.
This is a very impressive piece of animation indeed. Although this idea has been done time and again, Wasilewski manages to make this all his own. The music adds to the atmosphere of course but the choice of visuals ultimately drive the point home. The simplistic surroundings and character design are pure genius. The robotic overlords seem to be cookie cutter images of each other but upon close inspection, you'll notice there are subtle differences in each one that represent the corporate regime. As the main character descends, the orgy ensues, giving the piece an eerie undertone.
All in all, a very impressive piece of work.

im waching this and im thinking it has a very powerfull statement in it and that its really quite creepy.
them BAM robot orgy. not sure how to take that lol.
the animation was great and the story line was a well thought out process.
